| 340-B Prescription Drugs If you are a patient of the health center and qualify for sliding fee, you are eligible for the “340 B” prescription program. The government has made this program available to Federally Qualified Health Centers throughout the United States to offer reduced costs on prescription drugs. These savings are passed onto Thunder Bay Community Health Service patients who get their prescriptions filled at a participating pharmacy. In many cases this reduction could save you as much as 40 to 50 % in the cost of your prescription. This applies to Generics as well. Just ask your provider for more information on this program.
