TBCHS is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Technician to float to all our pharmacies located in Hillman, Onaway, Rogers City, Atlanta and Fairview. Mileage paid to any site that isn’t your home site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. All delegated tasks must occur while the delegate is under the personal charge of a pharmacist.

Job Knowledge, Professional Responsibility, Quality and Judgment
- assists pharmacists to prepare medication for dispensing
- fills vial drawers daily
- fills vials with prescribed tablets and capsules
- types labels for prescription packaging
- enters and processes new/refill prescription information into pharmacy computer system with assistance
- has pharmacist check work when completed
- prints patient education monograph (PEM) and med guides
- receives and stores incoming medication and supplies
- controlled substances will be verified by the pharmacist
- confirms receipt of all items with invoices
- adds price stickers to all items received
- shelves items; rotating older stock
- removes outdated product from shelves per Pharmacy Protocol
- counts stock and enters data into computer to maintain inventory records
- performs sorting and filing of prescription records
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Pharmacy Technician Certification or Limited Pharmacy Technician License, Pharmacy Technician License.
